Why is the Scanner Appliance not connected?

The installed Scanner Appliance sometimes need to be rebooted in order to work properly. There are two main ways to reboot the virtual image.

Alternative 1

Reboot the Scanner Appliance from the management console for you virtual server.

Alternative 2:

Please follow these steps to reboot the Scanner Appliance from Security Center.

  1. Login to Security Center.
  2. Go to Scanner Appliance 
  3. Reboot the virtual image directly in the Edit section by clicking on the Edit Edit_icon.PNG icon to the right. 
  4. Reboot the Scanner appliance by clicking Reboot under General Information.
