What is the general basics for setting up a Network Scan?

To setup a network scan, go through these steps.

1. Install a Scanner Appliance
   Local scanning behind your firewall only - otherwise skip this step.

2. Create an asset (add hosts/IPs)
   Add host or IP ranges that you want to scan. When scanning IP ranges hosts will be added automatically.

4. Schedule or run only once
