Scanner Appliance manual diagnostics
Scanner Appliances need to communicate back to Security Center when set up in the customer environment. To make troubleshooting easier when it comes to network related issues, we have built a new manual diagnostics section available in the console interface of Scanner Appliance’s.
These new diagnostic features will easily identify issues in the network communication or in the resources assigned to the Scanner Appliance. It includes features like Ping, Traceroute, and HTTP GET capabilities that can be used against manual targets to diagnose the network communication from the Scanner Appliance.
This new revision of the Scanner Appliance is being released today and will be generally available for all customers by the end of February.
