How are unified assets tracked?

The unification assets are tracked based on:

  • Network assets
  • Web app assets
  • Devices assets
  • Phishing simulation and awareness training recipients

Here are some examples of how we track different assets:

  • If a recipient is targeted with phishing simulation emails and has a Device Agent installed on his laptop, these data points will be unified into one unified asset view within the Asset Manager.
  • Device Agent can get the MAC address, IPv4, IPv6, and phishing simulation emails if the recipient email is targeted, then Device Agent will recognize it and connect it to the unified asset.

  • A Device Agent has a known MAC address that is connected with a Network asset with the same MAC address.

These are the identifiers that are used to unify assets together: 

  • MAC address
  • E-mail address
