2024-03-18: Scan optimization & safety
Speeding up network scans with improved scan profiles
We have made several improvements to the network scan profiles to improve scan times, optimize scan performance, and provide better accuracy when scanning large networks.
These improvements include advanced settings that can result in faster scan times when scanning large networks with low latency. The new options include host timeout and intense mode, both available for advanced scan configuration on larger networks.
Scanning full UDP port ranges has also received an optimized configuration to help improve the scan duration overall.
To take advantage of these advanced features, create a new network scan template using one of the latest scan profiles.
Please notice, existing scan profiles have not been changed.

Scanning safety measures
We continuously optimize our system to provide customers with the best quality service and performance. As a part of this initiative, we are implementing updated safety measures that analyze scan performance per account to avoid delays.

Easier to track cloud scans of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle
Cloud scans have received updated statuses to make it easier to track and understand the state of each scan. Scans will now have a clear status with a descriptive message, like other scan types, helping you understand the progress and the result.
