2025-05-16: Enhancements to the API, network scans & more

We have recently made a number of enhancements to improve workflow efficiency. Enjoy!

Public API

Retrieving network assets from the API now allows you to filter on IP and IP ranges, enabling you to fetch a smaller set of assets based on your filtering criteria.

Tag rules can now be read in the API, where information about the tag, including the rules, is available for you to interpret and combine with all the other data that the API is exposing.

Network scans & assets

When running network scans, ports and vulnerabilities sometimes remained open even when the asset state was set to closed. This has now been addressed. Moreover, the trend chart for editing single network assets has been removed.

Web assets

Web assets can no longer be assigned a default scan profile and a Scanner Appliance. We recommend using the standard scan profiles instead.

Scanner Appliance

A Scanner Appliance filter has been added to the scan schedules page to make it easier to determine which schedules belong to which Scanner Appliance.

The Scanner Appliance has received an updated Web scan engine version, on par with the external scan nodes.

Update network asset ownership in bulk

You can now update ownership information in bulk for your Network and Host assets, saving time and reducing manual effort.

This new capability allows you to efficiently assign or reassign ownership across multiple assets at once - helping you maintain accurate responsibility mapping and streamline operational processes at scale.

Use bulk updates to quickly reflect team changes, enforce new ownership policies, or onboard new business units with ease.

Other enhancements

  • From unified assets, you can now more easily access the network asset details, ports and the editing of the asset.
