2026-08-12: Smarter patch detection & multi-credential scanning
An improved Device Agent
Our improved Device Agent (version 1.3.3.0) lays the groundwork for more accurate detection of missing Windows patches. With this new version, the agent will soon be able to report key Windows system file versions, which we compare against our patch knowledge base to find missing updates more precisely and more completely than the Windows Update mechanism alone.
You won't see new results straight away. This updated agent, which we are rolling out gradually, is a prerequisite for improved detection. You can expect to see new data in Security Center starting August 17th.
This version also includes minor fixes.
End-of-life vulnerabilities for Device Agent
Our Device Agent now detects end-of-life (EOL) applications and operating systems and reports them as vulnerabilities. Unlike other vulnerabilities, EOL advisories don't include CVEs. Instead, they flag software versions that the vendor no longer supports or updates with security patches.
Each advisory shows the affected product, the EOL versions and dates, the risk of running unsupported software, and recommended remediation tasks. For example, an advisory might flag an outdated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader that no longer receives security updates, with a recommendation to upgrade to a supported version.
You'll find EOL vulnerabilities under identifiers that start with HID-8- and will see more detailed EOL findings in Security Center over the coming days as we sync our data. You will likely also see an increase in the total number of vulnerabilities. This is expected and reflects a more complete picture of your real exposure.

Multi-credential scanning
Network vulnerability scans now support multiple authentication credentials in a single scan profile for both Windows and Linux targets. You can select, manage, and reuse several credentials in the same scan.
This makes it easier to assess environments where systems have different authentication requirements, providing broader authenticated coverage without having to maintain multiple scan profiles.

Improved pagination
We've improved table pagination to make large lists easier to navigate. You can now jump straight to a specific page, use pagination controls in both header and footer, and see the total number of items when available.

Additional enhancements
- We have added multiple security patches to the platform following our yearly security audit.
- Our Microsoft Teams integration now supports Workflows, Microsoft's new way to build integrations. Read how to set up this integration here.
