How is Business Impact inherited from Tags?

  • If you create a unified tag with a specific business impact, that impact will be shown on the Asset to which it is assigned, regardless of its existing business impact.
  • When multiple tags with varying business impacts are assigned to a single Asset, the Asset will display the highest business impact out of all these tags.
  • If you want to exclude the Business Impact from tags inherited on an Asset, you can adjust that in the Asset Manager by doing the following:
    1. Go to Asset Manager.
    2. Search for the Asset.
    3. Click on the Edit icon to the right. 
    4.  Choose Manual set the Business Impact.
    5. Choose the Business impact you want.
    6. Click Submit.
    7. Done!
