How do I activate JavaScript support in the web scan engine?
Many modern websites today build features and content fully in JavaScript. This type of content is different from traditional HTML content. In order for the scanner to render and run vulnerability tests on this type of content, it needs to be enabled.
To make sure you have JavaScript scanning enabled, follow these steps:
- Login to your Security Center.
- Click on Asset Manager > Web Applications.
- Click on the edit icon to the right of the Web App you want to activate the JavaScript scanning for.
- Click Scan Settings and mark the JavaScript scanning.
- Click OK to save.
- Done.
