How do I assign the asset ownership to Teams?
Teams can define their responsible assets, allowing network and web assets to inherit ownership accordingly. This feature streamlines delegation by clearly indicating asset ownership, simplifying lifecycle management and associated risk assessment. Enhanced ownership settings provide control over which assets inherit ownership and which maintain distinct owners.
To assign the asset ownership to a Teams member, do the following:
- Login to Security Center.
- Go to Asset Manager, add a new asset, or click Edit on an existing one.
- Under Configuration, scroll down to Owner, select Team, and choose a specific team.
- Click Save changes.
- Done!
