How do I change business impact on assets?
The business impact factor is an easy way to filter out your most and least vulnerable assets. If selecting a specific business impact on an asset or tag, the vulnerability manager will consider this when defining the severity of your vulnerabilities.
Here are the steps you can follow to change the business impact:
- Log in to Security Center.
- Click on Asset Manager.
- Click on Network Assets or Web Applications depending on what asset you wanna change
- In the column Business Impact – Click on the text for the asset you want to change. Click on the desired business impact level in the window that will appear.
- Click OK.
- Done!
There is also a way to change multiple assets at once:
- Log in to Security Center.
- Click on Asset Manager.
- Click on Network Assets or Web Applications depending on what asset you wanna change
- In the top of the window, click Set Business Impact.
- Click on the desired business impact level.
- Done!

- Business impact set on the asset have the highest priority.
- If no business impact is set on the asset the highest business impact set on related tags is used.
