How do I check if my SMTP & SMS settings are configured correctly?

External endpoints can be assessed for connectivity, guaranteeing smooth communication with the On-Prem appliance. This functionality verifies the connection is active, simplifying troubleshooting and ensuring an effective setup.

To check the connectivity of the SMTP, do the following:

  1. Login to the On-Prem admin page (Port 8001).
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Under Email Configuration, insert the SMTP Hostname/IP and the SMTP port.
  4. Click on the Check Connection button to check the connection.
  5. Done!.

Note!
This test only validates connectivity and does not verify additional information, such as credentials. 

To check the SMS (via Cellsynt) connection, do the following:

  1. Login to the On-Prem admin page (8001).
  2. Click Configuration.
  3. Scroll down to SMS (via Cellsynt), and mark Enable SMS via Cellsynt.
  4. Click Check connection to validate the connection status.
  5. Done!
