How do I create a network scan profile?

Follow these instructions to create a network scan profile. The profile you create can be used for any on-demand or scheduled scans.

1. Log in to the Security Center. 
2. Click Scan Network in the main menu.
3. Click Scan profiles.
4. Click +Create Scan Profile>Network scan profile
5. Under the headline General information enter the following:
   • Name: the name of the profile, e.g., Basic scan profile.
   • Owner: the owner of the schedule.
   • Details: any comments or a brief description of the profile that you want to add.
6. If you want to perform authenticated scans, please find the information under the Authentication heading in this article.

7. Click Submit.
8. Done!
