How do I enable potential vulnerabilities?
Network vulnerabilities are identified using the vulnerability tests that Security Center provides to prove that a vulnerability exists. These vulnerability tests perform different actions to provide a high level of confidence that a vulnerability actually exists on the scanned target.
In certain vulnerability tests, the accuracy is lower due to reasons depending on the scanned target, such as the collected information within the scan. This kind of vulnerability with lower accuracy is referred to as potential vulnerability.
By default, this scan setting is disabled, you can activate this test by doing the following:
- log in to Security Center.
- Click on Scan Network.
- Click on Scan Profiles.
- Click + Create scan profile>Vulnerability profile or edit an existing profile.
- Click Scan Settings.
- Scroll down to Configuration.
- Check the box for Include potentially dangerous tests.
- Click OK.
- Done.
