How do I improve the accuracy when scanning web servers?
This article will strictly cover the web servers setting when setting up a network scan. For more information on how to set up a regular scan, please see:

Network scans can return more accurate results for web servers that are hosting websites.
This can be done by one or many host names for a single IP address.
Note: This is limited to 1 IP address per scan. To map several IPs, create several scans.
- Click on Scan Network.
- Click on Add scan.
- Click Targets and choose the webserver.
- Click Webservers.
- Select the server IP address which you want to run the extra tests on
- Choose what virtual host names to map
- Done!
