How do I install the Web Recorder in Google Chrome?
To be able to scan your web application using a multi-step authentication method, you would need to download the Web Recorder plugin. With this plugin, you can record the login sequence and save it in a JSON file, which you can then upload to your Security Center. Please follow these steps accordingly to install the Web Recorder:
- Unzip/unpack the Web Recorder plugin ZIP package, which you can download here.
- Move to chrome://extensions/ in Google Chrome (ensure Developer Mode is switched on).
- Click the Load unpacked button.
- Pick the folder of the unpacked content from the ZIP file.
- The extension is now loaded.
- Open the list of extensions and pin the extension (it should be blue).
- You can now press on the icon in the extension bar, next to the navigation bar in Chrome, to launch the Web Recorder plugin.
- You can now proceed to record a login sequence. You can find the full description here: https://support.holmsecurity.com/knowledge/how-do-i-record-a-login-sequence-using-the-web-recorder-plugin
