How do I reboot a Scanner Appliance?

The installed Scanner Appliance sometimes needs to be rebooted to work properly. There are two main ways to reboot the virtual image.

First way:

Reboot a Scanner Appliance from the management console in your virtual server.

Second way:

Please follow these steps to reboot a Scanner Appliance from your Security Center.

  1. Log in to your Security Center
  2. In the main navigation bar, hover over Assessments.
  3. From the dropdown menu that appears, select Scanner appliances.
  4. Reboot the virtual image directly by clicking the Edit icon to the right. 
  5. Reboot a Scanner Appliance by clicking Reboot under Advanced.
