How do I run a connectivity test for the Scanner Appliance?

Please follow these steps to see where the Scanner Appliance fails to connect.

  1. Open up the Scanner Appliance virtual machine in your virtualization platform.
  2. Go to Status > Connectivity using the arrow keys and press enter in the configurator.
  3. Select Yes when asked if you want to run the connectivity test.
  4. You will now receive the info on where the appliance fails to connect.
  5. You can use the PgDn (page down) and PgUp (page up) or Arrow keys to see the different areas of the results window.
  6. Done!
