How do I run a Brute-force only scan?

  1. Log in to the Security Center.
  2. Click Scan network > Scan profiles.
  3. Click Create scan profile > Network scan profile.
  4. In the General Settings, do the following:
    1. Give the scan profile a name.
    2. Scan type, choose Basic.
  5. In the Vulnerabilities > Category, include the following:
    1. Brute force attacks.
    2. Default accounts
  6. Unmark the following checkboxes:
    1. Skip tests that perform active login attempts.
    2. Skip password brute forcing.
  7. Click Submit to save.
  8. Done!
