How many scans can I run on a Scanner Appliance?
Different scans require different resources when being executed depending on a number of factors.
When running scans on Scanner Appliances it is important to take the size of the scan as well as the number of Scanner Appliances into account.
Network scan
- 2 cores / 8 GB RAM: 2 concurrent scans
- 4 cores / 16 GB RAM: 4 concurrent scans
Web scan
- 2 cores / 8 GB RAM: 1 concurrent scan
- 4 cores / 16 GB RAM: 2 concurrent scans
We recommend to use several Scanner Appliances when expanding the number of concurrent scans.
