Filters that carry over to each vulnerability

4We’ve streamlined how you navigate and analyze vulnerabilities in the unified vulnerabilities view. With our latest update, filters applied in the overview will automatically carry over when you open a single vulnerability.

This ensures that the same filtered assets remain visible, providing consistent context and making it easier to focus as you analyze specific vulnerabilities.

Open the device asset directly from a vulnerability

2-1You can now seamlessly open device assets directly from a vulnerability in the unified vulnerabilities view. This update makes it easier to transition from analyzing a vulnerability to viewing detailed asset information, helping you streamline your workflow and enhance your analysis.

Save optional columns in unified assets & vulnerabilities

1You can now save your preferred columns in the unified assets and vulnerabilities views. This enhancement allows you to select and keep visible the columns that you want to see in your saved views, tailoring the data display to suit your needs.

New device severity information available in the API

The API now delivers detailed insights into vulnerabilities by severity level for your assets using a Device Agent. You can retrieve the number of vulnerabilities in each severity category — from informational to critical — and identify the maximum severity value for each device.

The news feed is now the security feed

We’ve renamed the “News feed” to the “Security feed” to better reflect its focus on delivering threat intelligence and vulnerability updates within Security Center. The Security feed will now provide tailored updates to help you stay informed about critical security developments.

3-1

The security news feed is under the bell icon at the top right, and the news is found at the bottom left by clicking the question mark icon (see screenshot).

We have moved general and product news to the new News icon, conveniently positioned in the bottom-left corner of Security Center once you have clicked on the question mark.

Choose encryption settings for scheduled reports

5-1You now have the option to send scheduled reports without encryption. This feature provides flexibility in cases where recipients do not need to validate their identity using a phone number.

This update ensures that sharing reports with external parties is smoother and more convenient when encryption is not required.

Dashboard widget clarification

6

We have updated the names of a few widgets on the dashboard to improve clarity and help users understand which widgets are based on severities and which are based on asset risk score. We’re working continuously to make Security Center clearer and more consistent.

Here are some examples of how this has been implemented:

  • Vulnerability trend is now referred to as “Vulnerability severity trend”
  • Account risk score is now referred to as “Account asset risk score”

Other enhancements

  • We have enhanced rescanning of network assets for better accuracy when using different scan profiles against the same assets.
  • Users can now reset the individual assets filtering unified vulnerabilities.
  • We have optimized the performance of the preview of assets when configuring a tag.
  • We have added additional file types to the default blacklist for web and API assets, such as .jpg, .webp and .mkv.

Upcoming release of a major improvement to on-premise Holm Security VMP

For those who use on-premise deployment, there’s a major release coming up with significant improvements, like static route configuration, a new dashboard, new integrations, and much more.
