2024-08-01: Product name change

We are replacing "Scanning" with "Security"

Next-Gen Vulnerability Management evolves, just like vulnerability management in general. Scanning technology is just one of many ways we collect vulnerability data today, alongside agents and APIs, and our platform includes Attack Surface Management (ASM) functionalities. 

As a result, we’re changing our product names, replacing the word “Scanning” with “Security,” which more accurately reflects what our products do.

These are the new product names: 

• System & Network Security
• Web Application Security
• Cloud Security
• API Security

We are also changing the name for Phishing & Awareness Training to:

• Phishing Simulation & Awareness Training 

We will gradually update these product names across all touchpoints, meaning that you might encounter old and new product names for some time.

No, no action is needed. 

Will this impact product functionality? 
No, there are no changes in the products.  

When will the name change be completed? 
We plan to complete the name change before the year ends.
