Performance update of the Web application scan engine

The Web application scan engine for external scans will receive an update that improves the performance of scans, which will result in more links and vulnerabilities being able to be found during a single scan. For some targets the scan duration can be longer, as the scan engine will be able to crawl through more of the links within the website and evaluate each for vulnerabilities.

The release also brings several updates that will improve the stability of scans and the resiliency of running scans. This will result in less scans having issues to complete properly when scanning complex targets and links.

The update is starting to be rolled out to customers on 29th of May.
