Unified Web Application Assets

The new unified asset view now includes web application assets, providing a clearer understanding of the overall risk they pose to the business. This view combines vulnerabilities from different asset types, allowing you to assess the risk posed by a web application hosted on a network server.
Web applications can be unified by selecting which existing unified asset it currently resides on. This is done by editing the Web application and selecting the desired unified asset from the list.

How to unify web application assets

This overview will also assist you in discovering new product features, allowing you to quickly discover new functionalities in the platform that you haven't taken advantage of yet.

The lifecycle of network assets

Lifecycle asset management helps maintain your network assets, setting your stale assets, which have not been detected for an extended period, to inactive. This is an account setting that, from this release onwards, is turned on by default, which will automatically set your assets to inactive if they have not been detected for over 120 days. The network asset views will automatically exclude inactive assets on default views, which is also a configurable filter.

Improved Filtering & Coverage for Cloud Scanning

You can now use new filtering options to exclude scans based on the specific cloud provider. In addition, we have introduced 78 new cloud policies across the three supported cloud providers, along with an additional 14 policies specifically for Microsoft Azure Active Directory.

Other Enhancements

  • Scanner appliance IDs can now be displayed on the Scanner Appliance view for easier troubleshooting.
  • The limit on additional ports in network scans has been increased to allow more ports to be added.
  • Older scans could prevent scan profiles from being removed, this has now been resolved.
  • Scans overview have received performance improvements which should result in scans loading faster, especially on accounts with a large number of historical scans.
