What is Holm Security Device Agent?

The Device Agent is a lightweight agent for devices ranging from laptops and desktops to server systems. 
It's an agent-based service that runs on the device’s operating system for active vulnerability threat scanning and asset tracking.


Application details

OSQuery is an open-source application utilized as a dependency to collect and retrieve information about the operating system. OSQuery runs parallel with Device Agent in its own process (osqueryi.exe).

The Device Agent is installed as a background service on a given device’s operating system, where it is started automatically when the system is booted. The application service is installed and runs in the context of the system.
