What permissions does the TOPdesk integration need?

This article describes the permissions required for a TOPdesk operator account to successfully integrate with Holm Security. Ensure these permissions are configured before setting up the integration.

Required permissions

The operator account used for the integration must have the following permissions:

Ticket permissions (required):

For first and second-line tickets, set the permissions to:

  • Read
  • Write
  • Create
  • Archive

Additional permissions:

Check all required checkboxes for TOPdesk integration access. Refer to the screenshot below for the exact settings to enable.

Apply the permissions

Follow these steps to configure the permissions:

  1. Open your TOPdesk operator account settings.
  2. Set the first and second-line ticket permissions to read, write, create, and archive.
  3. Check all required checkboxes as shown in the screenshot above.
  4. Click Save to apply the permissions.
  5. Done!

Your operator account is now configured for integration with Holm Security.

Tip: If you are using an operator group instead of an individual operator account, apply these same permissions to the group settings. The integration will work with either approach.
