How can I view the assets counting towards a license?
The product is licensed based on active IPs, referring to systems and computers in a network. To require a license, an asset must meet the following criteria:
1. The asset is active.
2. An inactive asset that was previously active but still retains data. This occurs when an asset is deactivated due to a retention policy and is automatically deleted after 36 months.
To view which assets are currently counting towards your license:
- Login to Security Center.
- Go to Assets.
- Click Network.
- Open the filtering drop-down by clicking on Filter.
- Select all the severities under highest severity.
- Select Active and Inactive.
- Assets listed with a minimum of info severity shown is counted towards your license.
- If you don't want the asset to be counted toward your license you need to delete it.
- Done!
