Why is my appliance busy but not connected?

If the Scanner Appliance loses connection over one or more ports, the problem is likely a change in the firewall rules. If the firewall rules have not been changed, it could be an internal problem within the Scanner Appliance. Most of the time, a simple reboot will solve this issue. Follow the steps here on how to reboot the Scanner Appliance.
